Early Career Group ECG

The journey through advanced training and transitioning to establishing consultant Rheumatology practice can be a challenging process.  The ECG serves to support this transition, and to facilitate collaboration.

The objectives of the ECG are:

  • Professional development and support - To support and engage members through their career development including educational opportunities.
  • Collaboration and partnership -  To foster collaboration within the member group and with other professional bodies, for research and other purposes.
  • Advocacy and leadership development – To provide opportunities for a new generation of contributors in advocacy and leadership roles.

All ARA (full or associate) members who are accredited Rheumatology advanced trainees or Rheumatologists within eight years of completing their training will be members of the ECG.
