The Reproductive Health Special Interest Group (RHSIG) consists of rheumatologists, healthcare professionals and others interested in improving the care of patients through their reproductive years.

The RHSIG aims to

1. Enhance clinical resources for an Australian context:

a. Develop and disseminate evidence-based resources for reproductive health issues in patients with rheumatic diseases in an Australian context.

b. Update existing resources to ensure they align with latest research, particularly with the use of medications in pregnancy, lactation and in reproductive aged patients.

2. Promote education and research:

a. Foster and support research initiatives that focus on rheumatic diseases and reproductive health.

b. Organise educational programs or workshops, disseminate latest research findings and clinical practices related to reproductive health in rheumatology.

3. Advocate for and support patients:

a. Advocate for policies that improve access to reproductive health services for patients with rheumatic diseases.

b. Develop resources for patients including patient education materials.
