Patient Services per Standard Week

Inpatients – 5-6 per week

Outpatients –

- 1 general rheumatology clinic weekly*

- 1 connective tissue diseases clinic weekly*

- 1 scleroderma clinic weekly

- 1 privatised scleroderma clinic fortnightly

- 1 biologics clinic weekly*

- 1 ocular rheumatology clinic weekly (at Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital)*

- 1 monthly lupus clinic (with Nephrology)*

* attended by advanced trainees

 

Requirements for On Call / Afterhours (including weekends)

1 in 2 weekends (Friday to Sunday) for advanced trainees (consultants on call Monday-Thursday after hours)

 

Education Activities

Weekly unit meetings

Weekly hospital grand rounds

Monthly scleroderma case discussion meetings

 

Teaching Responsibilities

Organise Rheumatology BPT mock exam morning.

Supervision of University of Melbourne medical students and unit HMO2.

Scleroderma Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Inflammatory arthritis clinical trials
