Inpatient services, including consults. Regular outpatient clinic attendances (at least 6 OPC clinics available per week)
No on-call/after hours requirements for Fellows (Consultants generally share after hours/on-call duties each week). Participation in on-call service can be added, we can offer Fellows first on-call with Consultant as second-on-call/backup.
Regular weekly Rheumatology meetings with education component, Grand Rounds, Clinicopathology Conferences.
JMO supervision and education – formal teaching, plus informal bedside teaching
Medical student teaching – bedside teaching

Position is dependent on external funding sources as there is no funded clinical training position at Perth Children’s Hospital. e.g. Telethon Fellowship (applications usually have to be submitted a year prior).
