Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Special Interest Group (SLE SIG)

The SLE SIG serves to promote collaborative research in clinical and translational areas of SLE amongst clinicians, and to raise the visibility of the ARA in the area of SLE research. The SLE SIG also aims to provide resources to ARA members seeking local expertise.

The objectives of the SLE SIG are to:

  • support the development of the Australian Lupus Registry, a centralised registry for SLE patients.
  • collaborate with international partners in research projects as part of the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration.
  • develop guidelines and recommendations for the treatment of SLE.

The SLE SIG membership is open to all members of the Australian Lupus Registry & Biobank, or by invitation.
