Australian Paediatric Rheumatology Group (APRG)

The Australian Paediatric Rheumatology Group (APRG) exists within the ARA and represents all paediatric rheumatologists in Australia. The APRG is inclusive and voluntary in its membership, is accessible to those who are members of the ARA or NZRA. The APRG advocates in the interests of all categories of its membership, providing opportunities to discuss issues of relevance including education, service provision, and research priorities within the group.

This will be facilitated by;

  • providing regular opportunities for face to face meetings of the membership each year to facilitate inclusive discussion regarding relevant issues
  • developing and providing consultation within and on behalf of the membership regarding position statements relevant to the membership and to paediatric rheumatology patients
  • communication with ARA Board when relevant and if support or advocacy from the ARA Board is required
