  • Average inpatients: 0-5 per week
  • Average consults: 10-15 per week
  • Clinics: 5 clinics per week
  • Specialised clinics:
    • Lupus clinic monthly
    • Rapid access – weekly
    • Procedural – General anaesthetic joint injection list fortnightly
    • Outreach – Nil
    • Biologics clinic – weekly
    • Autoinflammatory – monthly
    • Uveitis – monthly
    • Transition – monthly
    • Adolescent / young adult rheumatology (via Mater) – weekly (meets college criteria for adult clinics)

Requirements for On Call / Afterhours (including weekends)

Weekend phone oncall approx. 1 in 4; 8am-5pm only. No evening / night oncall

Education Activities

Educational meetings:

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Medical students
  • Resident (rotating position)
  • Assist with RACP Divisional Written & Clinical Examination preparation
