Dr Joanna Hall grew up in South Australia, prior to moving to Melbourne in 1999 to undertake medical training at Monash University. She graduated with Honors, then undertook physicians training at the Alfred Hospital, and subsequent advanced training in Rheumatology at the Alfred, Royal Hobart, and Western Hospitals.
She now works as a rheumatologist at Barwon Rheumatology in Geelong and Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, as well as seeing patients at St John of God Hospital in Geelong.
She has published research in Osteoarthritis and undertook research at the Menzies institute in Hobart.
Jo has interests in all areas of rheumatology, but particularly in inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis, and women's rheumatology including management of rheumatological conditions in pregnancy.
